What other measurement is important?

A) Your waist-to-hip ratio:
Your waist measurement is divided (in centimetres) by the measurement of your hips (in centimetres). A waist-to-hip ratio greater than 0.9 for men or 0.85 for women suggests an increased risk for health.

B) Your waist-to-height ratio
Cut your waist measurement (in centimetres) by your height (in centimetres). For good health, research has shown that keeping your waist circumference at less than half of your height - or a ratio that is not more than 0.5 should be considered a wise choice.
